Yes, I buy cars at auctions all the time. There are several auction websites here in the US that tell where to find the auctions at so I'm sure there is some where you live. It is very difficult not to get a good deal at an auction. But do yourself a favor and do your research. You need to go with a plan that you are only going to bid on certain types of cars....... the ones you did your buy without a prescription research on. That's where people get into trouble at auctions is when they bid on stuff they have no idea what its worth is. It's also a good idea not to bid on anything at your first auction, just sit back and see how everything flows and keep a mental note. But if you have to get something on your first trip to the auction, pay attention to the "blocks" (items to bid on) before yours.
