The simplest way to do it is to put it on www.autotrader.ca, under the GTA area. It costs about $20 some odd dollars to put it up and it should take you less than 2 wks to sell it, provided that it is a reasonable asking price.
A friend of mine posted his Honda Civic and sold it within a week.

I don't believe they hold public auctions other than the eBay site, I looked into it a while ago. There are sometimes special occasions when they do, your best bet would be to contact them, the Toronto police website is http://www.torontopolice.on.ca
